Beginning January 5, 2009, the Office of Financial Regulation will be outsourcing the Mortgage Broker exam to Pearson Vue (Promissor recently merged with Pearson Vue). All Mortgage Broker licensee applicants eligible for the January exam, and all exams going forward, will be transmitted nightly to Pearson Vue via an electronic list. Pearson Vue will then send a mailing to the applicant with instructions on how to set up an appointment with them for the exam. The exam will be conducted at Pearson Vue’s testing centers via computer. Applicants will have their grade available upon completion of the exam. Office of Financial Regulation.

CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES
All Mortgage Brokers must be entered by an approved school into the Office of Financial Regulations records that they have completed their 14-Hour Continuing Education Requirements no later than August 31, 2009. 4-hours of this requirement must include Florida Statute FS 494 and the Administrative Rules. Our CD has been approved to meet these requirements. Place your order in the amount of $49.00, which includes shipping and handling and we will send you the CD with instructions on how to complete this course. Once completed, you will be sent your Certificate of completion and entered into the State's records. You must retain this Certificate for 4-years as required by Florida Statute.
